How Five Dice Works
Five Dice is the classic dice game of luck and nerve. On your turn you roll all five dice, then get up to two more rolls: after each roll you tap the dice you want to keep and roll the rest, chasing a strong combination. When you are happy (or out of rolls) you place the result in one of the thirteen boxes on your scorecard. Each box can be used only once, so you also decide which chances to spend and which to save.
The upper section pays the sum of the matching dice for ones through sixes. Collect at least 63 points up there and you earn a 35 point bonus, so those small numbers add up. The lower section rewards combinations: three and four of a kind score all five dice, a full house is 25, the small and large straights are 30 and 40, five of a kind is a 50 point Five Dice, and chance simply takes the total. If the dice miss every open box you must cross one out for zero, so a bad turn still costs you a slot.
Roll a second five of a kind after scoring the first and you collect a 100 point bonus each time, then place the dice by the joker rule. Pass and play with one to six players on a single device: hand it along after every turn and the running game is saved, so you can close the tab and finish later. After thirteen rounds the highest grand total wins.
