Jigsaw
Piece the scattered picture back together, snap by snap.
How Jigsaw Works
Pick a picture and a piece count, from a quick dozen up to 192. The picture is cut into classic jigsaw pieces on the spot and scattered across the table, each one turned by a random quarter turn. The clock starts as soon as the pieces hit the table.
Drag pieces with your mouse or finger. Every piece can be rotated: double click or double tap turns it a quarter turn clockwise, or press R while you hold or hover one. Two neighbors only click together when their pictures line up in the same orientation, so straighten a piece before you try to seat it. Connected pieces travel and rotate as one group, and there is no fixed frame: build anywhere on the table. The puzzle is done when every piece has found its place.
Need a look at the goal? The eye button lays the finished picture over the table while you think. The pause button stops the clock and hides the table. Your puzzle saves itself locally after every move, so you can close the tab and carry on later. All pictures are public domain photographs and paintings. Sounds can be muted at any time.
